Why is Trump not being held accountable for his companies’ financial problems?
Trump was not the only one with a financial problem.
The New York Times reported on Friday that Trump has “soured on Wall Street,” citing a letter he wrote to regulators that “the economy is on the wrong track.”
The Times reports that the letter was written in January 2016 and Trump has since “reinforced” the sentiment by tweeting “I’m a businessman not a banker.”
Trump’s companies have been accused of misusing federal subsidies to create jobs, but the administration has said that the companies do not have to repay the money because they are “self-sufficient.”
